Santiago is a modern city who was born a lot in the last years. It principal attractive is El Palacio de la Moneda, symbol of the modern history of Chile and it government.
The Andes mountains domain in the horizon is a constant in everywhere of the city.
Near the city center are two important hills from where you can get a panoramic view of the city.
The hill of Santa Lucia is smaller than the hill of San Cristobal and more easy to climb and to go because it's near the city center and the other hill is near the neighbourhood of Bellavista.
Walking to the hill of San Cristobal throught the pedestrian streets, the arms square where the people meeting to talk, listening preachers and watch the place where the main Catedral was builded; I found the main Market of the city who have a great variety of fresh fish and restaurants. Out of the market throught the river Mapocho I found a sculpture of Botero and the building of modern art museum. Crossing the river and passing infinity of bars you can see the zoo on the foot of the hill of San Cristobal.
The city center have two interesting short streets for visit; the Paris street and London street with architecture similar to style of Paris and London city.
