Fray Bentos

DSC04300
Despite of the city is close Buenos Aires, Argentina and others touristic cities like Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos; is not very easy to arrive without car because the buses have a bad frecuency because of the problems with the international bridge between Argentina and Uruguay.

The bridge was paralyzed for long time due to the strikes and the diplomatic conflict between Argentina and Uruguay to avoid the installation of the Botnia paper mill in Uruguay and would could contaminate the river and the area; in opinion of the ambientalist and the people whom live near the factory.
Finally the construction was stopped but ocasionally the bridge have a few transit problems in the control point.

In my case i had luck because the border control was quickly and didn't have a transit.
For get i had to take an international bus witch pass one time peer day from Gualeguaychu and arrive to the terminal from Fray Bentos.

Fray Bentos is a little city, quiet and industrial. When i arrived in a summer day in the afternoon, the city was like a ghost city: stores closed, very few cars and pedestrians in street.
The life grow around the evening and at night when the families go out to walk to the high hours of the night.
